Every EvenSkyn device, and how to tell which one you need
EvenSkyn builds at-home devices for the things people usually book a clinic for: firmness, tone, the eye area, breakouts, unwanted hair and stained enamel. Everything on this page is a device you operate yourself, on your own schedule, and none of it is a substitute for a clinical procedure. What follows is how the range divides up, so you can find your device rather than scroll all of them.
Start by naming the job
Most people arrive looking for a product and leave better served by naming the job first. There are five.
- Firmness and laxity. Radiofrequency warms the deeper layers of skin to support the look of tighter, firmer skin over a course of sessions. This is the Lumo⁺, which combines radiofrequency with EMS and red and blue light in one handset.
- Lift and contour. Microcurrent works on facial muscles rather than the dermis, so it suits maintenance and a more lifted look between other treatments. That is the Phoenix bar, and the ultrasound and EMS Eclipse for earlier signs of ageing.
- The eye area. Eyelid and under-eye skin is thinner than the rest of the face and most full-face devices are not shaped for it. The Venus is built specifically for it.
- Light therapy. LED phototherapy is non-thermal and works cumulatively across weeks, using red and near-infrared for rejuvenation and blue for blemish-prone skin. See the LED face mask range.
- Hair and enamel. Two jobs that have nothing to do with the rest: at-home IPL through the Pulsar, and whitening formulated for sensitive teeth in the MatureSmile range.
Which device suits which stage
| If your main concern is | Start with | Why |
|---|---|---|
| Skin still firm, wanting prevention | Eclipse or Phoenix | Tone and lift without heat-based tightening |
| Visible loosening along the jaw or neck | Lumo⁺ | Radiofrequency reaches deeper than microcurrent alone |
| Crepey eyelids or under-eye texture | Venus | Sized and powered for thin eyelid skin |
| Dullness, congestion, uneven texture | Cosmo | Ultrasonic cleansing lifts buildup before other steps |
| Fine lines plus blemish-prone skin | LED mask | Red and blue wavelengths do different jobs in one session |
| Body or facial hair | Pulsar | IPL for gradual, long-term reduction |
Devices work together, but not on the same evening
Energy-based devices and needle-based delivery are complementary, and stacking them badly is the most common mistake. Radiofrequency and microcurrent can share a routine. Micro-infusion should not be run on the same evening as further radiofrequency, and our own protocol calls for a minimum of 24 hours between them. If you are combining more than two devices, build the week around the most intensive one and let the others fill the gaps.
Every session starts on clean skin, which is what the cleansing and exfoliating step is for. Every energy device then needs a water-based conduction gel for proper contact. Without it the energy scatters at the air gap and the head drags rather than glides, which is the single most common reason a device underperforms.
Honest about what these will not do
At-home devices run at lower output than the equipment in a clinic, which is what makes them safe to use unsupervised. The trade is intensity for frequency: results build over weeks of consistent sessions rather than arriving in one appointment. They do not reach the depth of a clinical radiofrequency or ultrasound system, they will not resolve moderate to severe laxity, and they are cosmetic devices rather than treatments for any diagnosed condition. Deep static lines, significant sagging, acne scarring and anything medical belong with a clinician.
If you are pregnant or breastfeeding, have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, or are being treated for a skin condition, check with a doctor before starting with any energy-based device.
Common questions
Which device should I buy first?
For most people asking about firmness, the Lumo⁺ covers the widest ground because it carries three technologies in one handset. If your concern is specifically the eye area, start with the Venus instead. If you are in your thirties and thinking about prevention rather than correction, the Eclipse or Phoenix is a better fit than jumping straight to radiofrequency.
How long before I see a difference?
Most protocols run eight to twelve weeks before results are worth judging. Energy-based devices are cumulative and occasional use rarely produces visible change. Frequency matters more than intensity.
Can I use more than one device?
Yes, and many routines do. Keep the most intensive treatment as the anchor of the week and space the others around it, and never run two heat-based treatments back to back on the same area.
Do I need the conduction gel?
For radiofrequency, microcurrent, EMS and ultrasound, yes. It is not an upsell, it is the medium the energy travels through. LED masks and IPL do not need it.
Are these devices FDA cleared?
Clearance varies by device and by claim, and it is listed on each individual product page rather than asserted for the range as a whole. Check the specific product you are considering.
