Micro-infusion, and what the needles are actually doing
Most of what a serum can do never reaches the layer it is meant for, because the skin barrier is doing its job and keeping it out. Micro-infusion works around that. A sterile head of very short needles creates depth-limited micro-channels in the skin, and the serum travels through them in the same motion, so the actives are delivered below the surface rather than left sitting on top of it.
The depth is the whole point. The MicroInfuser™ head is fixed and mechanically locked at 0.5 mm, so pressing harder cannot drive the needles deeper. That is shallow enough to run at home without numbing cream or downtime, and deep enough to get past the barrier.

How a session runs
- One fresh head and one fresh ampoule, every session. The needles are single use and individually gamma-sterilised, and the serum never contacts open air, fingers or a refillable chamber.
- Clean, dry skin. If radiofrequency has run first as a warm-up, rinse the conduction gel off before the MicroInfuser™ goes on.
- Follow the pattern in the manual. The head is designed to be pressed, not dragged, and the fixed depth does the rest.
- Then leave the area alone. Wait at least 24 hours before any radiofrequency, EMS or ultrasound on the same area.
- One session every two weeks. A kit is four sessions, so one kit is roughly two months of use.
Honest about what it will not do
This is not RF microneedling and it is not equivalent to a clinical procedure. Neither the MicroInfuser™ nor the Lumo⁺ drives radiofrequency through needles, and the depth is fixed at 0.5 mm rather than the deeper settings a clinician works at. It delivers serum more effectively; it does not change what the serum itself can do, and results depend on running the sessions rather than on the first one. Deep static lines, significant sagging and anything medical belong with a clinician.
