Gift guide · Holiday 2026

A skincare device can be a lovely gift or a drawer-filler. The difference is whether she wanted one, and whether the routine fits her week. Here is how to tell, and what each option involves once the box is open.

Open palms holding the pink EvenSkyn Lumo+ handset and a Syntha-Pep serum vial with a MicroInfuser needle head
The Lumo+ and the MicroInfuser, two of the gifts in this guide. Each suits a different person; the table below helps you tell which.

The short answer. Give a skincare device when she has asked for one, already enjoys one, or loves trying a new routine. If you are not sure, ask first, or give her usual skincare instead: a device only earns its place if it gets used. For one device that does the most for the face and neck, our top pick is the Lumo+ (US$499.99 / CA$707), with radiofrequency warmth, EMS and LED light in short sessions two to three times a week. For the eye area, the Venus (US$149.99 / CA$212). For someone already curious about micro-infusion, the MicroInfuser kit (US$119.99 / CA$170), once she has checked she is suitable. For a first device under US$200, the Eclipse.

The gift guide in one minute

EvenSkyn Lumo+ handset
Our top pick

Why the Lumo+ leads this list

It covers the most ground in one routine. Radiofrequency warms the skin to a sensor-held 40 to 42°C, EMS works the facial muscles, and red and blue LED light runs alongside, in sessions of 5 to 8 minutes two to three times a week. It comes with a travel case, a 2-year warranty and our 60-day money-back guarantee.

  1. EvenSkyn Lumo+: best all-round gift for the face and neck. Pearlescent Pink was in stock on 18 October; White was sold out.
  2. EvenSkyn Venus: best for the eye area, which full-face devices are kept away from. US$149.99.
  3. EvenSkyn MicroInfuser: for someone already curious about micro-infusion, after a private suitability check. Four treatments, about two months.
  4. EvenSkyn Eclipse: a gentle first device under US$200, with six short modes.
  5. EvenSkyn Phoenix: nothing to charge. A light-powered microcurrent bar for a daily habit.
  • A device is a routine, not a one-off treat. Choose one whose schedule she will actually keep.
  • Give it because she wants it. A device should never arrive as a comment on how someone looks.
  • Our 60-day money-back guarantee counts from the order date, so the earlier you buy, the less of it is left after the holidays. The dates are below.
  • Shipping is free to the US and Canada and usually takes three to four business days. Leave room in December.

Who made this guide. EvenSkyn makes and sells every product here, so read this as a manufacturer's guide, written to be checked. Prices were read from our own store for the US and Canadian markets on 18 October 2026 and will change, including during holiday sales; each product page shows the live price in your currency. We have not run an independent test of these gifts, and nothing here is a clinical claim. Where a different kind of gift would serve her better, we say so.

EvenSkyn is a Canadian at-home beauty-device company that designs and manufactures anti-aging devices including the Lumo+ (radiofrequency, EMS and light therapy), the Phoenix microcurrent bar, the Venus eye device, the MicroInfuser, and the MatureSmile LED whitening kit.

First, will she actually welcome a device?

Most disappointing device gifts fail before the box is opened. The useful question is not which device is best, but whether this person wants one and whether the routine fits her week. Four situations cover most gift-givers.

  • She has asked for one, by name or by type. The easy case. Buy what she asked for, check the colour, and keep the order details for the guarantee.
  • She already uses a device and enjoys it. An add-on can beat a second device. Gel or under-eye patches restock what she uses, and the Venus adds the eye area that full-face devices leave out.
  • She loves skincare but has never mentioned devices. Ask, lightly. Some people love a new routine; others would rather have their favourite serum. A device that asks for two or three sessions a week is a commitment, and she should choose to make it.
  • You do not know her preferences. Skip the device. Her usual moisturizer or sunscreen, a booked facial, or something she has actually mentioned will land better. We do not sell gift cards, so we cannot offer that route.

Whoever you are buying for, the gift should be a treat, never a hint. Age is not the test either: plenty of women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond enjoy a device routine, and plenty would rather not. Buying for yourself? Everything below applies to you too.

Match the gift to her

Start from what she wants, then check the reason to choose something else before you buy.

The gifts, one by one

Six devices, each with the commitment it asks for and an honest reason to choose something else. Prices are for one device, read on 18 October 2026.

EvenSkyn Lumo+ radiofrequency, EMS and LED handset
Our top pick · face and neck

EvenSkyn Lumo+

US$499.99 · CA$707 (checked 18 October 2026)

The most complete single gift we make for the face and neck. Bipolar radiofrequency at 1 MHz runs a short, sensor-controlled warm-up and then holds the skin at a steady 40 to 42°C. EMS at 3 to 15 mA works the facial muscles, and red (623 nm) and blue (465 nm) LED light runs alongside. It is aimed at the look of firmer, smoother, more lifted skin along the jaw, cheeks and neck, and it is rated 4.6 out of 5 by more than 360 verified reviewers on our store.

In the box
The handset, a travel case with pockets for the Venus, a charging base, a 100 to 240 V power adapter and the user manual. Gel is sold separately with the device-only option.
Routine
Sessions of 5 to 8 minutes over a water-based conductive gel: two to three a week, or one to two if she is under 40. The first two weeks start gently, at the lowest level.
Ongoing cost
Conductive gel, US$49.99 / CA$71 for 300 mL.
Cover
2-year warranty and the 60-day money-back guarantee.
Colour
Pearlescent Pink was in stock on 18 October. White was sold out.
Choose something else if
Her main concern is the eyelids or under-eye area, which the Lumo+ stays away from. She would rather feel nothing: radiofrequency feels warm and EMS feels like a pulse. She has a pacemaker, an implanted electronic device or a cardiac condition, in which case her physician should decide first.

Lumo+ kits: the Lumo+ and Venus in one kit, US$594.99 / CA$841; the Lumo+, Venus and Phoenix in one kit, US$699.00 / CA$988; the Lumo+ and MicroInfuser duo, US$589.99 / CA$834. Each costs less than its devices bought separately.

EvenSkyn Venus eyelid anti-aging device in white
Best for the eye area

EvenSkyn Venus

US$149.99 · CA$212 (checked 18 October 2026)

Full-face devices are kept outside the orbital bone, which leaves the eyelids, crow's feet and under-eye area out. The Venus is built for that skin. Its metal head holds a steady 42°C for fractional radiofrequency, alongside red and blue LED light, sonic massage at 12,000 oscillations per minute and ion-assisted absorption of the eye cream she already uses. It targets the look of crepey eyelid skin, crow's feet, puffiness and tired-looking eyes.

In the box
The Venus, a protective cap, a USB charging cable and the manual.
Routine
5 to 8 minutes for both eyes, on alternate days, over her own eye cream rather than gel.
Cover
1-year warranty and the 60-day money-back guarantee.
Colour
White and Pearlescent Pink, both in stock on 18 October.
Choose something else if
Her lids droop from true ptosis, a muscle condition that needs a clinician. Or she wants one device for the whole face: then the Lumo+, or both together in the Lumo+ and Venus kit.

Syntha-Pep PDRN serum ampoule beside the EvenSkyn MicroInfuser kit box
For the micro-infusion-curious

EvenSkyn MicroInfuser

US$119.99 · CA$170 (checked 18 October 2026)

A four-treatment micro-infusion kit: a stamp-style applicator with a fixed 0.5 mm nominal needle length, four sterile single-use needle heads and four sealed 5 mL ampoules of Syntha-Pep serum. At one treatment every two weeks, the kit lasts about two months. It is a thoughtful gift for someone who has asked about micro-infusion and is comfortable with fine needles, and the wrong surprise for someone who is not. Read the section below before you buy.

In the box
The applicator, 4 sterile needle heads and 4 sealed Syntha-Pep ampoules.
Routine
One evening session of about 10 minutes every 14 days.
Ongoing cost
None until the four treatments are used; then a new kit. It is a one-time purchase with no subscription.

EvenSkyn Eclipse at-home ultrasound, EMS and LED facial device
A first device under US$200

EvenSkyn Eclipse

US$199.99 · CA$283 (US$229.99 / CA$325 with a bottle of gel)

Five technologies and six modes in one handset: ultrasound for a deeper clean and better serum absorption, EMS for the facial muscles, red and blue LED light, sonic massage and gentle warmth capped at 42°C. Each mode runs 3 to 4 minutes, and three of them are made for daily use, so it suits someone who likes a small ritual more than a schedule. Three intensity levels in every mode let her set the pace.

Charging
About 2 hours over the USB cable.
Ongoing cost
Conductive gel for three of the six modes: lifting (EMS), light and massage. Cleansing runs over water or a toner, nourishment over a water-based serum she already owns, and soothing over her day or night cream.
Cover
1-year warranty and the 60-day money-back guarantee.
Choose something else if
She wants radiofrequency warmth for firmness. The Eclipse has no radiofrequency; the Lumo+ does.

EvenSkyn Phoenix solar-powered microcurrent face bar
Nothing to charge

EvenSkyn Phoenix

US$119.99 · CA$170 (checked 18 October 2026)

A four-roller face bar powered by light. A solar cell turns daylight or indoor light into a low-level microcurrent of about 15 µA, below what most people can feel, and 30 minutes in light holds enough power for a 5-minute session for 24 hours. There is no battery, no cable and no switch. It suits a gentle daily habit: she glides it upward and outward over a water-based gel or serum, for the look of less puffiness and a fresher jawline.

In the box
The bar, which stores in its solar charging case.
Routine
A few minutes most days, up to 15 minutes per area.
Cover
1-year warranty and the 60-day money-back guarantee.
Choose something else if
She wants to feel the device working; she will not, and that is normal. Also skip it with a pacemaker or another implanted electronic device, during pregnancy, or with a metal allergy.

EvenSkyn Pulsar at-home IPL hair removal handset
Only if her colouring suits IPL

EvenSkyn Pulsar IPL

US$279.99 · CA$396 (checked 18 October 2026)

An at-home IPL handset for gradual hair reduction on the legs, underarms, bikini line, arms, chest, back and upper lip, with eight intensity levels, a built-in skin sensor and a skin rejuvenation mode. IPL works on the pigment in the hair, so it suits dark hair against light to medium skin.

In the box
The Pulsar, protective glasses, a charging adapter and the user manual.
Routine
Once every two weeks for the first four to five treatments, then once every four weeks.
Before first use
Shave the area, then patch-test a small spot and wait 24 hours.
Cover
1-year warranty and the 60-day money-back guarantee.
Choose something else if
Her hair is grey, white, very light blonde or red, which IPL cannot treat; her skin is among the deepest tones (Fitzpatrick VI); she is pregnant or nursing; or you are not sure how she feels about it. Chosen unprompted, hair removal can read as a comment on her body, so gift the decision rather than the device. Our honest IPL guide and skin type test let her check privately.

Smaller gifts and restocks

  • Under-eye micro-infusion patches, 8 pairs US$69.99 / CA$99, 16 pairs US$99.99 / CA$142. Each patch carries 1,800 dissolving hyaluronic acid microneedles about 0.25 mm long, with peptides, niacinamide, stabilized vitamin C and a gentle retinoid. She wears them for 2 hours or overnight. Because of the retinoid, they are not for use during pregnancy, while breastfeeding or when trying to conceive. Final sale once opened.
  • Conductive gel, 300 mL US$49.99 / CA$71, two bottles US$79.99 / CA$113. The working gel for the Lumo+, three of the Eclipse's six modes and the Phoenix. Final sale once opened.
  • MatureSmile LED whitening kit, US$89.97 / CA$125.48. A low-dose 6% carbamide peroxide gel (about 2.1% hydrogen peroxide) in 16-minute sessions, made for teeth that sting with ordinary strips. Not for untreated cavities, cracked teeth or braces; a dentist should decide first during pregnancy or nursing, or with gum recession. Our sensitive-teeth whitening comparison has the detail.

Is a MicroInfuser a good gift?

It can be a thoughtful one, for the right person. The MicroInfuser is our newest product and the most personal gift in this guide, because it involves fine needles, a little preparation and a two-week rhythm. Here is what she would be receiving, and what to settle first.

What she gets

  • A stamp-style applicator with a fixed 0.5 mm needle depth. Pressing harder cannot drive the needles deeper.
  • Four sterile, single-use, gold-plated needle heads and four sealed 5 mL Syntha-Pep ampoules, one of each per session, so the serum never sits in an open chamber.
  • Four treatments at one every 14 days: about two months, at US$30 a treatment in the US.
  • A one-time purchase. Nothing renews; when the four treatments are used, she buys a new kit.

Syntha-Pep carries biosynthetic PDRN, sh-Oligopeptide-1, copper tripeptide-1 (GHK-Cu), a four-form hyaluronic acid system and niacinamide. The full ingredient record is on the Syntha-Pep ingredients page. The MicroInfuser is a cosmetic device, not a medical device, and it is not FDA-cleared.

Who would welcome it

Someone who has asked about micro-infusion or microneedling, is comfortable with the idea of fine needles, and likes a routine she can keep. If she already uses a Lumo+, the two are designed to work together: on a micro-infusion evening the Lumo+ goes first, and afterwards the skin gets at least 24 hours, ideally 48, before radiofrequency again. Our Lumo+ and MicroInfuser guide has the full calendar, and how to choose a micro-infusion system compares the kits on the market.

Ask her first if

A gift should never pressure anyone into a treatment. Ask first, or choose a different gift, if needles make her uneasy or if any of these apply. The manual rules out micro-infusion with oral isotretinoin (Accutane) now or in the past six months, a personal or family history of keloid or hypertrophic scarring, an active skin infection or cold sore in the area, open wounds, active cystic or inflammatory acne, or an active eczema, psoriasis or dermatitis flare. It asks for a doctor's clearance first during pregnancy or breastfeeding, on blood thinners or immunosuppressants, or with uncontrolled diabetes or an active autoimmune condition. She can read the whole list privately on our micro-infusion safety page. A gift guide cannot judge anyone's medical history, and should not try.

If there is a party coming up

Plan her first session at least two days ahead, and longer the first time. Before the first full-face session she patch-tests a small area and waits 24 hours, and for 48 hours beforehand she pauses retinoids, acids and scrubs. A pink flush for one to four hours afterwards is normal, and she skips makeup that evening and the next day. Most people notice a hydrated look within a day or two; the fuller change builds over a course of sessions, not before one event. The MicroInfuser owner's guide walks through a first session step by step.

If she does not want it

Unopened, the kit is covered by the 60-day money-back guarantee like any device. Once she starts, the guarantee refunds each unused, sealed treatment at 25% of the kit price, so a kit with all four treatments used has no refund left. Heads or ampoules that arrive damaged can be replaced if support hears from her within 14 days of delivery.

What each gift costs to own

The price on the box is only part of it. Here is what each device needs before the first session, and afterwards.

Shipping, returns and warranty in the US and Canada

Shipping

Shipping is free on every order to the United States and Canada, with no minimum. Delivery usually takes three to four business days in both countries; that is an estimate, not a guarantee, and carriers slow down in December. Every order gets a tracking number by email, usually within 24 hours. We ship from Canada. For a Christmas gift, we would not leave it to the last week.

If she would rather not keep it

Every device comes with a 60-day money-back guarantee, counted from the date of purchase. That matters for gifts: the earlier you order, the less of the window is left after the holidays.

Dates count 60 days from the order date. Request the return before the window closes.
If you order on The 60 days run to about
1 November 2026 31 December 2026
15 November 2026 14 January 2027
27 November 2026 26 January 2027

  • Start a return by emailing support@evenskyn.com or calling 1-888-999-1946 before sending anything back. Items sent without a return request are not accepted.
  • Return shipping is not free. Send it back with a courier of your choice, or ask us for a label and its cost, up to $20, comes off the refund.
  • The device should come back in its original packaging, in the condition it arrived.
  • Opened skincare is final sale: conductive gel and under-eye patches cannot be returned once opened. MicroInfuser refunds cover unused, sealed treatments at 25% of the kit price each.
  • Refunds go to the original payment method once the return arrives and is inspected, so the return runs through whoever placed the order.

Warranty

The Lumo+ carries a 2-year warranty. The Venus, Eclipse, Phoenix, Pulsar and the MicroInfuser applicator carry 1 year. Consumables such as needle heads and ampoules are not covered by warranty, though heads or ampoules that arrive damaged can be replaced within 14 days of delivery. The full terms are in our refund policy and shipping policy.

Our Christmas giveaway

Three device sets to win, no purchase needed. The prizes are the Lumo+, Venus, MicroInfuser kit and Phoenix; the Lumo+, Venus and MicroInfuser kit; and the Lumo+ and Venus. You can enter with an honest photo review of an EvenSkyn product you have used, or with a free photo entry that needs no product at all, and both count the same. Entries close on 25 December 2026 at 3 PM Eastern, and three winners are drawn on 26 December. Questions before you check out

Is a skincare device a good gift for a woman over 40?

It is when she wants one. Age is not the test: plenty of women in their 40s, 50s, 60s and beyond enjoy a device routine, and plenty would rather not. Ask, or listen for a hint, then choose the device that matches the concern she has mentioned.

What is the best skincare device to give my mom?

If she has asked for a device for her face and neck, our top pick is the Lumo+, because it covers radiofrequency, EMS and LED light in one short routine. If her eyes are her main concern, the Venus. If she would prefer something gentle with nothing to charge, the Phoenix. If you are not sure she wants a device at all, ask first.

Is an LED face mask a good gift?

It can be, for someone who wants a hands-free routine she will repeat several times a week. Before buying any mask, check that the brand publishes its wavelengths and light output, that it fits comfortably, how long each session takes and how the eyes are protected. Our LED face mask comparison goes through the details.

Is an IPL hair removal device a good gift?

Only when she has said she wants one. IPL needs dark hair on light to medium skin, does not work on grey, white, very light blonde or red hair, and is not suitable for the deepest skin tones. Our Fitzpatrick skin type test lets her check privately.

Can she start using it right before a holiday party?

The Lumo+ has no downtime; any pinkness after a session settles. The MicroInfuser needs planning: a 24-hour patch test before the first session, then no makeup that evening and the next day, so schedule it at least two days before an event. Under-eye patches are worn for two hours or overnight, which makes them easy to fit in the evening before. MatureSmile runs one 16-minute session a day for a week, so start it early.

Does anything need refills or a subscription?

The Lumo+, Eclipse and Phoenix work over a water-based conductive gel or serum, so a bottle of gel is the main running cost. The MicroInfuser kit holds four treatments; after that she buys a new kit. Nothing in this guide is sold as a subscription on its product page.

What if she does not like it?

Devices have a 60-day money-back guarantee counted from the order date. Return shipping is paid by the sender, opened gel and patches are final sale, and MicroInfuser refunds cover unused treatments. The dates and details are above.

Do you ship to Canada, and are prices in Canadian dollars?

Yes. Shipping is free to Canada and the United States, and shoppers in Canada see Canadian prices: on 18 October 2026 the Lumo+ was CA$707 and the Venus CA$212.

Is the Lumo+ FDA-cleared?

No. The Lumo+ and the MicroInfuser are cosmetic devices aimed at the look of the skin, and neither is FDA-cleared.

Can she use more than one device?

Yes, and ours are designed to share one week: the Lumo+ two to three times a week, the Venus on the days in between, the Phoenix on most other days. She should introduce one device at a time. Our at-home anti-aging stack guide sets out a full week.
